Resourcing Calls

Sometimes you just need someone to help you figure out where to start.

Maybe you've been struggling for a while but you're not sure therapy is the right move.

Maybe you don't even know what you need — you just know something needs to change.

Maybe you've Googled yourself into a spiral and now you have seventeen open tabs, zero clarity, and a whole lot of decision paralysis.

That's what a Resourcing Call is for.

What is a Resourcing Call?

A Resourcing Call is a one-hour, non-clinical conversation (meaning it’s not therapy!) designed to help you make sense of what you're experiencing and figure out what kind of support would actually help.

This isn't therapy and doesn't establish a formal therapeutic relationship.

There's no intake paperwork, no ongoing commitment, and no pressure to do anything other than show up and talk.

It IS an hour with a Perinatal Mental Health Certified therapist who:

  • Specializes exclusively in moms, perinatal mental health, matrescence, and neurodiversity in motherhood

  • Knows the Sacramento-area provider landscape inside and out

  • Genuinely loves connecting people with exactly the right resource — whether that's me or someone else entirely.

You don't leave a Resourcing Call with me empty-handed. Ever.

A Resourcing Call might be right for you if:

  • You're not sure if you need therapy or something else entirely

  • You've been thinking about getting support but don't know where to start

  • You want to understand your options before committing to anything

  • You're navigating something specific in your motherhood journey — a diagnosis, a loss, a transition — and need help finding the right resources

  • You just want to talk to someone who gets it before deciding what's next

What's included:

  • A one-hour video call with Lauren Puliz, LMFT, PMH-C (me!)

  • A chance to share what's going on and get an outside perspective from a licensed professional (if you’ve ever wanted to pick a therapist’s brain — this is your chance!)

  • Personalized resource recommendations and warm referrals in our local community — providers, support groups, tools, and more

  • A clear sense of what your next step might look like

What a Resourcing Call ISN’T:

  • Therapy or clinical treatment (not reimbursable through insurance).

  • A substitute for crisis support — if you're in crisis, please call 988 or text the National Maternal Mental Health Hotline at 1-833-TLC-MAMA

  • A manipulative guilt-tripping sales pitch
If therapy with me is potentially a right fit, we’ll explore that together! And if it’s not — I'll help you find what is. I care more about you working with the RIGHT therapist for YOU than I care about YOU working with ME in therapy.

Investment: $200 for one hour

Available to moms in the Greater Sacramento Area. Virtual, via video call.
