Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) Intensives

Lauren Puliz therapy for millennial moms

Sometimes, we NEED to feel better FAST.

Sometimes, we need the symptoms to RESOLVE before we can process the “whys” behind our feelings, behaviors, and choices.

Enter: Accelerated Resolution Therapy Intensives

A structured, contained trauma, memory reconsolidation, and symptom relief treatment for moms who are ready to stop replaying the same loop and actually move on with their life — without spending months in weekly therapy waiting to feel better.

Not all intensives are created equal, and after 5 years specializing exclusively in maternal mental health as a Perinatal Mental Health Certified (PMH-C) therapist, I've built this intensive specifically for moms to target the challenges we face the most:

  • Birth trauma

  • Pregnancy loss

  • Infertility and IVF

  • Child loss

  • Overwhelm

  • Rage

  • Mom guilt and shame

  • Postpartum anxiety, depression, and OCD

  • Executive dysfunction and brain fog

  • Neurodiversity (both known, new, and suspected)

  • The grief of a motherhood that didn't go the way you planned

You don't have to explain yourself to me from scratch — I already understand the landscape of millennial motherhood.

You don’t have to share anything about what you’re processing that you don’t wish to share — because ART doesn’t require you to share anything!

What is Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART)?

ART is an evidence-based therapy that's particularly effective for:

✨ Healing primary or secondary trauma
✨ Easing burnout
✨ Resolving unwanted symptoms
✨ Expanding the window of tolerance and boosting positive feelings and perspectives

Why ART?

🧠 This approach taps into the brain's creative capacity for problem-solving to resolve symptoms quickly.

💆‍♀️ Most people notice relief after just one session—it's fast, gentle, effective, and evidence-based (kind of like a massage for your mind!).

What Makes ART Different & Unique?

  • Complete Privacy Protection
I don't need to know any details of what you're processing, so your privacy is fully guarded.

  • Not Traditional Talk Therapy
ART is a separate type of treatment that doesn't establish an ongoing therapeutic relationship. You can get treatment and move on — FAST!

  • Flexible and Low-Commitment
Pop in for an intensive if and when you need it, then get back to living!

  • Evidence-Based
Supported by research and recognized as an effective trauma treatment

  • Tools to Take Home
You leave with regulation tools you can use on your own between sessions and beyond

If you're craving relief, clarity, or a lighter load, this might be exactly what you need!

Refill your cup so you can continue showing up for your people and (most importantly) yourself. 🤍

What's included:

  • Intake Session (1 hour)
We get the full picture before we do anything else

  • ART Session 1 (2 hours)
Scheduled within one week of intake; most moms feel a significant shift in a single session.

  • ART Session 2 (2 hours)
Scheduled one to two weeks after ART Session 1; we go deeper and tie up loose ends.

  • Integration Session (1 hour)
Scheduled within one week of ART Session 2; we close the loop on treatment and plan next steps so you're not left figuring out what just happened on your own.

  • Optional Add-Ons:
Additional ART sessions may be added to your Intensive for $450 (limit two per package).

Why Book an Intensive Instead of Weekly Therapy

  1. You save time AND money.
A standard 60-minute Talk Therapy session in my practice is $300. Four weekly sessions per month for four months — the minimum before most moms feel a real shift — is $4,800.

The ART Intensive is $2,000 and covers the same ground (and more!) in just 6 hours of clinical work spread across 4 appointments. The intensive container is designed to get you where you want to go FASTER.

  2. It’s FASTER than any other treatment.
You may have heard of EMDR — one of the most well-known trauma treatments.
EMDR takes 8–12 sessions to complete a full treatment protocol.

ART completes a full treatment in a single session.

The ART Intensive gives you two of ART Sessions, plus the Intake to prepare and the Integration to close the loop after.

Most moms walk out feeling a shift that would have taken 4-5 months to reach any other way — and leave with tools they can use at home to support their own regulation and processing long after we're done.

  3. Clarity and confidence in your investment.

    • You know what you're getting
A defined and evidence-based process, not open-ended sessions.

    • You know what it costs
One price, three payments, no surprises.

    • You know when it's done
A beginning, a middle, and an end — no awkward DTR with your therapist required!

    • You know what to do next
You leave the Integration Session with a plan and resources specifically customized to your needs and stage of motherhood.

Policies

Designed to protect both my time and yours.

  • The Intake Session is scheduled at time of booking. All remaining sessions are scheduled during the Intake Session.

  • Payment will be collected in three (3) payments:

    • A non-refundable retainer of $800 at the time of booking.

    • $600 at ART Session 1.

    • Other payment plans may be offered at the therapist’s discretion. Regardless of payment plan structure, all remaining balances must be paid in full by the Integration Session.

  • No refunds are offered once the Intensive has been fully scheduled at the Intake Session.

  • ART Intensives are private pay only, exempt from Medi-Cal discounts, and not eligible for insurance reimbursement. HSA/FSA cards are accepted.
